Grand Tenor Selmer Ukulele ~
The shape of this instrument is modelled on the 1930's Selmer guitar shape made famous by the gypsy jazz guitarist, Django Reinhardt.
The similarities to the original Selmer instruments are in body shape only.
This uke, however, is built for any style of music and playing.
The huge versatility of this shape comes from it's 19" scale, 16 frets to the body while having standard tenor ukulele tuning.
Further, it's specifically designed bracing pattern allows the large vibrational area of the lower bout a real powerhouse in volume with deep, rich, punchy overtones and long sustain.
The body length is the same as a Tenor ukulele at 12.25", and the lower bout is as wide as a baritone width at 10.25".
As always, all my usual 'Standard' features can be totally customised- for options see Options.
